Tell nobody, and neither will I
Stop drinking there, and I will too
Ask me to show you, and I would try
Turn in for the night, and I will lie.
Pray for her, and so will I
Sit in stillness, watch the sky
Wait for me at the station, as I wait for you
Fill up your lungs with air, and I’ll breathe too.
Hate the heron, and I will try
Call it quits, and I would die, too
Water the plants, make the leaves glisten
Speak your mind, and I will listen.
Sing to the canyons, and I’ll echo your prayer
Sit me down, and cut off my hair
Lay the table, pull up a chair
Go on the run, and I’ll drive you there.
Rest your eyes, and look around
Slowly, I will stay here until you are found.
